We’ve used Brow Wiz for years, and it’s still one of our go-to brow pencils. The ultra-fine tip makes it easy to mimic real brow hairs — perfect for filling in sparse spots or shaping things up without overdoing it.

The formula is creamy enough to glide on smoothly, but not so soft that it slips around. And the built-in spoolie? Super handy for blending and brushing everything into place.

It’s especially great if you want defined but natural-looking brows, or if you need something precise for quick touch-ups during the day.

Note: The tip is delicate, so go easy on the pressure. And if you have very oily skin, you might see a little smudging by the end of the day — but we usually find it holds up well.

Pros

  • Fine tip makes hair-like strokes super easy
  • Creamy, blendable texture (without being slippery)
  • Built-in spoolie for blending and grooming
  • Travel-friendly, retractable design
  • Comes in a wide range of shades for a close match

Cons

  • Tip can break if you press too hard
  • Might smudge slightly on very oily skin without a setting product

💡 good to know

Founder Anastasia Soare (a.k.a. the “Eyebrow Queen”) started out shaping brows for legends like Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell before launching her now-iconic line. The pencil’s ultra-fine, retractable tip makes it easy to create natural, hair-like strokes, and it’s a longtime favorite of beauty editors and pros for mimicking the look of microbladed brows.
